"Якщо ваш комп'ютер підключений до сервера, на якому встановлений Windows Server Update Service з настройками за умовчанням, то Service Pack встановиться автоматично. Це вб'є компи, вони не будуть завантажуватися через помилку C00000034", розповів один з читачів видання, який вже мав справу з 15 проблемними машинами. Деякі читачі зіткнулися з проблемою "вічного" перезавантаження з повідомленням про помилку C000009A.
Але найцікавіше - це те, що перед установкою сервіс-пака ОС видаляє всі точки відновлення, тому єдиним виходом із ситуації є повна переустановка системи. Незважаючи на тривале бета-тестування пакету оновлень(з липня по лютий), Microsoft так і не вдалося знайти причину цього "бага", тому у зв'язку з численними зверненнями поки не було зроблено ніяких змін в коді.
Розводять руками і анонімні співробітники компанії, які сидять на форумах. "Ми серйозно працюємо, щоб з'ясувати причини цих проблем", - пише користувач, який представився співробітником Microsoft.
